Our Purpose

Emiko Essentials LLC is a small business located in the State of Hawai'i on the Island of O'ahu. We sell shipping supplies that are designed with a local flare of Hawai'i. 

Emiko Essentials LLC was created out of a passion for supporting small and local businesses here in Hawai'i. After supporting several businesses based out of Hawai'i, we noticed that there weren't many shipping supplies with prints that resemble home besides the stereotypical pineapple and leaf prints. We wanted to share parts our childhood through prints that resemble home. 

As a shipping supply company, we want to be the one stop shop for poly mailers, thank you cards, stickers, bubble mailers, and other shipping supply necessities to spread the beauty of our culture and home. 

 

Meet the Team

Owner, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Emiko Essentials, Pamela Oda

My name is Pamela Emiko Oda and I am the Owner, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Emiko Essentials LLC as well as the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Handmade by HDD LLC. I was born and raised in Hilo on the Big Island of Hawai'i. One of my biggest passions is supporting small and local businesses here in Hawai'i. Supporting a small business is supporting someone's dream, their passion, their goals, and most importantly, their family. As someone who has supported many small businesses here in Hawai'i, the continental US and internationally as well as met many small business owners, it inspired me to create my own. I wanted to create a small business that would provide me the opportunity to further support small businesses as well as thrifting accounts and what better way than to be part of their journey through providing shipping supplies with that local flare. 

Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer and Creative Director of Emiko Essentials, Harold Doronio

My name is Harold Doronio and I am the Co-Founder, Chief Operating Officer and Creative Director of Emiko Essentials LLC as well as the Owner, Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Handmade by HDD LLC. One of the things I used to do a lot in high school and undergrad to help destress from school, was draw. As I got farther into undergrad, I started drafting with possible tattoo designs for my first tattoo. Ultimately, I came to design a tribal hammerhead shark. A few years later I designed some fish around it, and am currently on working on a honu (turtle), and a tako (octopus). As being the Creative Director for Emiko Essentials LLC, I hope to bring some of my artistic abilities to our shipping supplies for you all to enjoy!
